A bit about me

Victoria Morrison
B.A. Specialization in Translation (2010)
M.A. Translation Studies (2016)

Born into an English-speaking family in French-speaking Quebec, translation was always a natural path for me. In December 2010, I completed my B.A. in French to English Translation with a minor in English Literature, and in 2016, I earned an M.A. in Translation Studies from Concordia University in Montreal.

Since the end of my undergraduate career, I have held several bilingual writing, editing, and translation jobs where I had a chance to learn a great deal about the tech, marketing, and telecommunications industries. I’ve been working as a full-time freelance translator since the summer of 2015.

In my spare time I enjoy riding electric scooters, stumbling upon alliterations, and watching videos about guitar pedals on YouTube.

Areas of expertise: marketing, advertising, web copy, film and audio-visual work, academic texts, visual performing arts, legal texts.
